What has changed ... NOTHINK !!!!!!!! I watched Blues on TV last night & there is nothink different in there 'playing performance' than what it was like a few years ago ... only different players. So what does this say ... its down to the coaching, management, set up etc .... same old c**p they are turning out. Sorry to say Savage hit the 'nail on the head' when he said the start of Blues down fall was Bowen leaving ( or was he kicked out ) ... we have never been the same since. If the Blues go up this season then the majority of the players we have now will NOT survive in the Prem ... while Bruce is still there ... its back to what has been said before Bruce has NO idea about tactics management at the TOP level. I am really glad we did not renew our 5 season tickets this season. Blues go up WITH OUT Bruce. BRUCE OUT NOW. |

Blue i have been a stauch critic and have agreed with you most of the time, but you are going over the top about last night, we need to focus on the league and if bruce pulls the rabbit out of the hat and gets us promoted great ( i admit i have my doubts having seen many false dawns over the last 35 years) my real concern will come when we are back in the prem i think this level is Brucies level and iam sure if come Xmas we have dropped out of contention then he will go but i would rather he he achieves promotion. Chin up mate we cant do anything except support the team i have accepted that. |

If you couldn’t get to games because of finance, work restrictions, health or some other understandable reason your view may be worth something but as you choose not to go to the games for me your opinion is worthless. If your non-attendance was anything to do with principle, regarding Bruce, you wouldn’t of watched the game on Sky. Couldn’t you get a place on one of the free coached to the Chelsea match? |

I dont know what game you was watching, we competed with one of the best teams in the country granted it was not there best team but neither was it ours !!. Their goal was a smash and grab episode could have fell to agger could have fell into taylors arms, plus we created a few chances, compared to how we played last year in the premiership it is a much improved performance, Julian Gray is the worst left winger in the world, he bottles out of challenges shows no passion whatsoever and is a lazy, lazy player, Maik taylor needs to show a little more urgency when we have the ball in his arms and the wingers need to be on there toes to receive the ball and attack while the opposition are out of position after the previous attack, our movement needs to improve but other than that we look good to get out of this division Bruce is not going anywhere so why dont you winfd your neck in and get behind the team !!!!!!! |

The thing that bugs me about last night was the fact we had NO DEFENDERS on the bench wtf** what was the reason for that? if Jaidi or Taylor got injured we would of have to shuffle the pack playing midfielders in defence. |

Steeples, you are having a Laugh, we were rubbish last nite.It was a one-off cup tie and we bottled it,no attacking play, nothing in midfield and no ideas from bruce. He is going defensive again as he stated in a WM interview, he needs to go now and get someone in who gets this team to play or have the board not got any bottle. |

I think it showed last night that Steve Bruce will never be a managerial success at Premiership level. It was like watching a game from last season. The lack of any pattern to our play was evident once more, and we must have been mad to pay £3m for Jerome. His first touch is abysmal. |

I must have been at a different game last night. We lose by one goal to a team that won the champions league and all of a sudden the anti Bruce, anti BCFc brigade crawl out of the woodwork with their messages of doom and gloom. Come on guys we held our own and are on track, at the moment , for promotion, why all the negative vibes? :copno: On another point, it really peed me off that a couple of L.pool fans in the family stand had brummie accents, whats going on? wtf** |

To be fair, when out in Spain, Bruce realised that Jerome was "one for the future." But with Mikael still struggling for full fitness, and the very real possibility of Bentdner going home on December 31st - we are really looking problematic again. The fact that we are relying so much on loanees gives full weight to the argument that there is gross mis-management at Blues. Arsenal should be paying us for the exercise and competitive games we are giving their youngsters - at the expense of developing our own. |

How is loaning 3 of the country's brightest prospects, to help us achieve our aims "Gross mis-management ?". You're entitled to your opinion like but I'm afraid you may be expecting a little too much. |

I agree with the Jerome comments LA. But Arsenals Infrastructure witht the youth set up is a million miles away from ours and this stems back to Barry Fry knocking it on the head 15 years ago - so I'm not sure you can 100% knock the current managerial set up for that. Also, why does taking advantage of other clubs players become gross mismanagement? Does the taking Upson from Arsenal count? - How about Forssell on loan for his 1st season? Jarosik on Loan? Maybe we should have compensation from Arsenal for giving us such a good player and then taking him back again? I'm sure we will sign at least 1 of the 3 Arsenal lads and with a bit of bartering we could get 2... either way if they get the club up then that is totally the opposite of Mis-management. I'm sure along the way there will be others that come along too. |

Its gross mis-management because it is deliberately neglectful of the development, experience gathering of our own youngsters. We can only field 11, and we have loanees on the bench as well. It is also gross-mismanagement to seek promotion when you are relying so heavilly on players who may or may not be there at the end of the road. It is gross mis-mangement to spend millions of pounds on players who within two weeks are second choices to another clubs reserves. Shall I go on ............................ :D |

Its gross mis-management because it is deliberately neglectful of the development, experience gathering of our own youngsters. We can only field 11, and we have loanees on the bench as well. They are better players than we have. His job is to get us promoted, not to create the best youth set-up in the land. It is also gross-mismanagement to seek promotion when you are relying so heavilly on players who may or may not be there at the end of the road. It would be mis-management to not try and get us promoted. He should use whatever means available. It is gross mis-mangement to spend millions of pounds on players who within two weeks are second choices to another clubs reserves. He is putting a squad together. He needs to play the best 11 he can, would you play Kilkenny ahead of Muamba on current form then ? Shall I go on ............................ :D No please don't it's becoming embarrasing **thumbup |

Hang on! how can anyone who scored 19 goals last Season in this Division be "one for the future"??? It's just been typical with SB that those who arrive at Blues lose their abilities and those that leave suddenly improve beyond recognition!!! Even Heskey has started scoring ~ or was he also one for the future too? |

Somewhat off topic... but... Letsby Avenue.... Great to see your graphic and be reminded of a Colloseum concert. I was really into them (and Soft Machine) and went to the Town Hall to see them some time in the late 60s must have been. Thanks for the memories. |
